Why one product is enough where two were previously needed
Until now, aesthetic medicine faced a choice: hyaluronic acid fillers for an immediate volume effect, or calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) for long-term collagen stimulation – but not both at once in a single product. Because when the two substances were mixed, their rheological properties changed and the risk increased.
HArmonyCa™ solves this dilemma: it is a ready-to-use hybrid filler in which 20 mg/ml hyaluronic acid and 55.7 % CaHA microspheres (25–45 µm) are combined in standardised, clinically tested ratios – including lidocaine for more comfort during the treatment.
How HArmonyCa™ works: the dual strategy
Immediately: hyaluronic acid provides volume
The high-viscosity hyaluronic acid provides a visible lift and volume effect immediately after the injection. Sunken areas are built up, contours are defined, the face looks fresher.
Gradually: CaHA stimulates the body's own collagen
In parallel, the CaHA microspheres form a scaffold within the tissue. They activate fibroblasts, which – from about day 60 after treatment – begin to form new collagen fibres. This effect reaches its peak between day 90 and 180 and is clinically proven to last over 12 months.
What distinguishes HArmonyCa™ from classic CaHA products
A common misconception: the more CaHA, the better. That is not correct. A high CaHA proportion increases the risk of granulomas and uneven tissue integration. HArmonyCa™ deliberately relies on a reduced CaHA proportion combined with high-viscosity hyaluronic acid – resulting in better tissue integration, a lower risk of granulomas and a more natural result.
From my personal clinical experience, this is precisely why I value HArmonyCa™ so highly: it delivers impressive results, without the risks of classic CaHA products.
Who is HArmonyCa™ suitable for?

What do clinical studies show?
In a prospective study (Urdiales-Gálvez et al. 2023, J Cosmet Dermatol) with ultrasound and elastography evaluation, an average volume increase of 2.1 ml per side and a significant rise in tissue tension were demonstrated after 180 days. 91.6 % of patients reported an improvement in facial aesthetics. No serious side effects were observed.
A long-term evaluation of 129 patients over 9 months (Proietti et al. 2024) confirmed: 100 % of patients showed an improvement, 61 % were rated as "significantly improved". HArmonyCa™ also proved to be a dynamic filler – the improvement was visible even during facial movements.
